Respooling Operator
We are seeking a dedicated Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating machinery within a manufacturing environment. The Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining high-quality standards.
Job Summary:
Responsible for inspecting and respooling braid.
Responsibilities:
• Operate respooling machine
• Apply tension control
• Supervise accurate lay-up on production reels
• Record production and scrap reports
• Identify defects in braided materials before, during, and after respooling materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
Other Duties:
• Miscellaneous as requested
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in a similar role is preferred
• Proficient basic math skills
• Ability to measure and read and comprehend measurements
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to stand for long periods of time frequently
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 pounds occasionally
• Ability to bend at waist level, twist, stoop, crouch and kneel
• Ability to reach in front and above shoulder and head level frequently
• Use of both hands to handle, hold, grasp, and finger frequently
• Ability to see and feel defects

Expected hours per week:
• 40 Hours A Week
• Overtime & Weekends As Needed
Schedule:
• Days: Monday-Friday
• 8 Hours A Day
• 7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.
Pay:
• $16.85 Per Hour
